FAQ > Alternative Dispute Resolution Q&A > What is ADR?
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a term used to describe problem-solving processes that fall outside of the traditional government judicial course and are typically far superior to using adjudicative methods for resolving conflicts. These processes are typically either in the form of negotiation, mediation, or arbitration or any combination thereof.
ADR is also an acronym for the “Agency for Dispute Resolution” - where we strive to offer a variety of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes to help parties resolve their disputes without highly contentious advocacy, extensive discovery, unnecessary procedural delays and excessive costs.
