Phyllis G. Pollack

After 34 years as a senior attorney, Phyllis Pollack became a full-time mediator helping clients work through conflict, finding viable solutions more effectively. Having mediating more than 1,200 disputes, Pollack focuses on disputes involving insurance, business, commercial, employment, personal injury, and real estate with a large portion of her cases involving the Song Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the federal Magnuson‐ Moss Act, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and other statutes relating to automobiles, auto fraud, and breach of warranty.

Utilizing a facilitative, interest-based approach, Phyllis Pollack assists the parties in creating options that meet the needs and desires of both sides. At the same time, Pollack frequently offers parties a generous dose of reality, particularly when the process may have stalled due to unrealistic expectations of attorney or client, a failure to focus on needs rather than demands, or when one or more parties need to be reminded of the potential consequences of their failure to reach an agreement.
